OCTOBER 2010 PUTZIER CERTIFIES FOOD COATINGS Our proven shaft coatings for sealing systems in food processing applications, PUTZIER MO26 and MO14, have recently been certified to conform to FDA regulations and the European framework regulation 1935/2004. Our production for these coatings conforms to the European commission regulation 2035/2006 (GMP). Our partners are able to deliver radial shaft seals according to FDA and EU legislation.

SEPTEMBER 2010 PUTZIER RECERTIFIED We have successfully recertified our quality management system according to ISO 9001:2008 and GTS. The thermal spraying processes and operators were examined and certified to the rigid standards of GTS in the areas of plasma spraying, HVOF spraying and coldspraying. ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS will be recertified in December 2010.

JULI 2009 PUTZIER CERTIFIED TO BS OHSAS 18001:2007 We have successfully integrated the standard BS OHSAS 18001 into our integrated quality management system. This was the last step to complete a system that fully integrates qualtity, environmental and health and safety aspects into one system.

JANUARY 2009 PUTZIER STARTS COLDPRAYING We have just started production and research with a new Kinetiks 4000 coldspray system. This new process uses only kinetic energy to produce dense and pure coatings of metals and metallic alloys. Since this solidification process is able to produce material thicknesses of several millimeters, it is also possible to produce free standing bodies. Putzier is one of a handful of job shops worldwide who offer this groundbreaking technology.

FEBRUARY 2006 | Putzier Continuously expands PlantDuring the past two years Putzier Oberflächentechnik GmbH has invested more than one million euros into the expansion of their production. Highlights are the ultra-modern plasma and HVOF-machinery, robot controlled handling tools and CNC-lathes
with linear drives for components with diameters up to 1000mm. Also new: State-of-the-art surface roughness measuring tools document the precision work for the customers.
