Corporate social responsibility pervades every aspect of Putzier Oberflächentechnik GmbH’s work. Economic sustainability, the careful use of scarce resources and environmental protection are the guiding principles of our business. We strive for sustainable, collaborative relationships with our employees, suppliers, clients and public institutions. We drive pioneering joint R&D projects and also test and promote new, more efficient technologies by means of domestic and international business partnerships.

1. Code of conduct

Putzier Oberflächentechnik GmbH undertakes to voluntarily comply with global demands concerning ethical and moral conduct. We attach particular importance to treating employees, suppliers and clients fairly as well as to complying with sustainable standards. Apart from observing competition and antitrust rules, this includes in particular:

Putzier’s employees are familiar with the company’s code of conduct and agree to abide by its principles. We notify our business partners of our code of conduct. And Putzier’s suppliers sign a form to confirm that they also comply with the code of conduct.

2. Employees

We want to ensure that our employees have a workplace which is both safe and rewarding. We therefore place great importance on ensuring that they are treated fairly and have a pleasant working environment. This is essential in order to motivate staff and encourage them to identify with the company. One of Putzier’s main objectives is to guarantee consistently high product quality. Employees’ awareness of this is constantly sharpened and they undergo continuous development. Concrete measures include:

4. Health and safety at work

  • Compliance with relevant requirements and guidelines

5. Community involvement

Putzier is closely associated with Leichlingen on the River Wupper, a town famous for its blossom. We are proud to support local projects, including at nurseries, schools and clubs. CEO Jens Putzier serves on various public bodies in the region and is also a lay judge.

GTS Thermal Spraying Association promotes sustainable research and development in thermal spray coatings and cooperation among its members. Particular attention is paid to ensuring the high quality of coatings by means of a jointly developed management system for thermal spraying with emphasis on quality, environmental protection, occupational safety and energy efficiency.
